Windsor-Detroit Branch

Branch News:

Secretary Kathleen McMahon is stepping down and a replacement is needed. If you're interested in taking on these duties, email her or call (248) 477-7542.

We are currently planning to hold but 4 meetings in the coming year, down from the 8 or 9 we once held, as it is becoming too costly. Except for Two Band Night and our Alastair Gillies workshop and recital, attendance at our meetings has been down. Because of this we urge more of you to attend and that you tell your friends of our high-caliber concerts and contests. We would also ask for suggestions to make our meetings more appealing to more of you to increase ouor attendance.

Don't miss our Thanksgiving weekend Amateur and Open Piping Medley Contest on November 28th, 1998.

And, in 1999, there are still more events scheduled:

Congratulations to the North Coast Pipe Band from Cleveland, which won Championship Supreme in Grade III.
